This year we are excited to offer video submissions to any dancers unable to attend an in person audition. You can find all requirements and regulations for videos listed here.
We will follow all CDC guidelines. As stated by the CDC. . . “Any individual vaccinated can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.” We are asking that any individuals not vaccinated attending the 2021-2022 auditions wear a face mask to prevent the spread of Covid-19 or like variants.
*All guidelines are subject to change as the CDC frequently updates their policies. We will follow any changes suggested by the CDC.
Yearly fees for ALL company members are $350 per year. It can be paid all at once or in two payments. Balances must be paid in full by September 21st. It is the desire of the Board of Directors that no dancer is excluded from participation in the company due to financial constraints. Our Member Care Committee will be happy to hear about any problems you may have with the fee schedule.
As with any non-profit organization, volunteer work is vastly important to the smooth running of the organization. This is especially true for Ballet Arts, Inc. because we are a volunteer staffed organization. There is a place for each and every one of you and you are needed! Our parents and Friends of Ballet Arts logged in over 8,000 hours of volunteer time in some years. That is impressive for such a small organization and our parents are to be commended! Tabitha AtKisson, our Friends and Family coordinator, will be available to answer questions you have regarding the many committees.
It is imperative that you register your child prior to auditions! This lets us know how many students will be attending, and how many time slots we will need to offer for check-in. Once you have registered you will be contacted with a specific time for your child’s audition. Our auditions will range from 8AM to 12:30PM.
Those who do not register by August 11th will not be admitted into auditions, and therefore will be disqualified from our 2021- 2022 season.
